99 jeep grand cherokee just won't start

 I have a 99 Jeep grand cherokee and the car just won't start. at first i thought was a keyless entry thing and just used the keys to lock the doors and to open and started fine the just died doesn't even try to turn over. i check with dealer and seperate mechanic and at first they thought it was the keyless code, but that was not it after they both checked signal. then they said it might be a clogged fuel pump and then after the mechanc look he said it looked fine.. so now i am sitting here with a vehicle that one does not start and two trusted mechanics don't seem to know what is wrong. oh after they checked the fuel pump it started again for about one day and now i am back to square one. there is a realy limit on mechanics in my area and then next jeep dealer is over 45 miles away.
